Rainier Wynset 'Cause I'm Bossy

"Kellis"

Kellis is the only bitch from a quality packed litter co-bred with Christina Hacking (Rainier Shelties).  Her brothers Wynset Rainier Paint The Town (12 points, three majors) and Ch. Rainier Walters Way Boca were ready for the ring sooner but they should look out for this bitch to get it all together.  She's quite a stunner!

These three are sired by Ch. Apple Acres Carte Blanche and out of our Peg, Wynset's Lite Brite.

The Summer of 2008 has been a great "coming out" for Kellis.  She stayed at home and matured while her brothers earned all the glory.  We had so many nice comments about her at the National we thought we'd give her a chance in the ring.  Even though she didn't win during the Utah cluster right after the National we had enough supportive comments from the judges and fellow breeders to try a few more shows.  She was learning the ropes so quickly.  Well, she didn't disappoint us, Sue Healy awarded her Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the Evergreen State Shetland Sheepdog Club specialty in June (Best of Breed went to her Grandmother Salem; RWD went to her brother Parker!).  We immediately left for the highly competitive Montana circuit entering her selectively.  She came home with her 2nd major winning under Lesley Hiltz.

She then promptly blew coat :>(  But, Parker and Boca better look out 'cause she's bossy and she's got both her majors!
